Fresh flowers delivered on a budget – we’ve got it covered!
MSS got in touch with the CEO at Flores Frescas (www.floresfrescas.com) to see how they manage to offer flowers at prices well below the average. Their answer is quite simple: each week they offer the “flower of the week” bouquet, along with their staple “mixed flower bouquet” and “12 roses bouquet”. So, rather than have multiple bouquets, limiting the offer means keeping the prices down whilst still offering a quality product.
Prices are 24€ for the flower of the week bouquet, 39€ for the mixed flower bouquet and 39€ for 12 roses. These prices include both sales tax and delivery. (Prices as of Sep 2011)
They also offer a subscription service, which we think is a great idea if you like the idea of having fresh flowers delivered to your home every week or fortnight. This works out at 18€ per bouquet with a minimum subscription of 4 weeks.
Additionally there are add-ons if you like your bouquets to be of a larger size or you want to accompany them with a gift card, etc.
The only drawback we can see is that they only deliver to the Spanish Peninsula (apparently this is to ensure that the flowers arrive in optimum condition).
By the way, don’t be put off by the fact that their website is only in Spanish – you can get in touch with them firstname.lastname@example.org and they’ll be delighted to answer all your queries in English.
