Apple Discount Offer for Students and Teachers

Did you know that Apple has a special discount for those who work in the education sector and university pupils (or their parents)? The offer is normally only valid during the summer, read on to see how to get a discount when you buy Apple products.
Where Can You Get These Discounts?
This offer is only available either from the online Apple Store for Education or in their stores in Spain but not other retailers (eg Media Markt or El Corte Ingles).
If you don’t have a nearby Apple Store, call their freephone number: 900 150 503.
Can Anyone Get A Discount?
To be eligible for the discount for one desktop/laptop/iPad per school year, you have to be one of the following:
- A university student (either already studying or admitted to university in Spain)
- Parent of a university student
- Teacher or other employee working in education (any public or private school or university in Spain)
This year you need to register online, via the Unidays site and include your personal details.
What Discounts Are Available?
For iMacs and MacBooks a discount of up to 365€ is available, depending on the model purchased. Although the discount is higher compared with previous years, you have to purchase the Apple Care Plan.
iPads come with a discount of up to 68€.
Remember that delivery is free on orders over 40€ and you can also get your iPad engraved for free too if you buy online.

Apple offers free workshops, check by location.
Used products will be collected for refurbishing or recycling and you may be eligible for a voucher (check T&Cs). If you don’t live near a store, Apple supplies a prepaid label so you don’t have to pay postage.
Always remember to delete all your data first.
