There are many international stores that have entered the Spanish market over the last couple of years to compete with national independent and chain stores. Whether online or in store, this increased competition has led to lower prices and more aggressive offers. We’ve selected some below, with information about promos and how to get money-off vouchers.

Argos in Spain has a large selection, with over 8000 products available. Delivery cost is 9.95€ regardless of the size of your order, however they only currently deliver to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. Although they don’t offer the full range of items which can be found on their UK website, their prices are very competitive (all priced in Euros) and they offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

Joseph Joseph products, they have new product ranges this autumn and their website has prices in euros. Delivery is free to Spain (mainland & Islands) for orders over 75€ – we suggest that if you don’t reach that threshold, check if any friends or neighbours need anything and make a single joint order.
When visiting
Ikea‘s website, you’ll have to choose from one of three sites: Spanish Mainland, Balearics or Canary Islands. On your chosen homepage you’ll see ads regarding their latest offers common to all stores and remember that getting an
Ikea Family Card is always a good idea, as this will give you additional discounts on lots of items. You can get a provisional Family Card online or in store and use it immediately. Choosing the page for your nearest store will give you a list of store-specific offers.
Ikea have also introduced a helpline in English as well as Spanish – see “Pregúntale a Anna” on the lower left hand side of the homepage.
If you subscribe to the Casa Shops
newsletter, you’ll get a voucher for 10% off your next purchase in store. However, don’t register until you need to use it, as it’s only valid for around 2 months.
Not many bricks & mortar stores yet in Spain, but this Australian company has some great ideas for, you guessed it, storage. So, until a store opens near you, take a look at their online
catalogue with nearly 1000 products all of which can be ordered online. Delivery is free on all orders until 31 Jan 2013, no minimum threshold is mentioned on their website. Most months they have a promo on: when you buy online you receive a 15% voucher for use during the following month.
